Our drones are tools that enable us to realise our cinematic vision.
SkyVisuals is a Malta-based aerial cinematography company led by founder, senior drone pilot and cinematographer Richard Geres. We create purposeful camera movement for commercial productions, sport, marine, tourism, property, film and television—across Malta and Europe.
Every flight begins with the finished image in mind: composition, light, pace, subject and the shot’s place within the edit. Technology enables us to create the story, never the other way around.

EXPERIENCE IN THE AIR.
AN EDITOR’S EYE ON THE GROUND.
Richard’s work began with travel and mountain films—from the Dolomites and Madeira to Hawaii—and evolved into increasingly demanding aerial cinematography.
Today his specialises in filming high-performance powerboats, sailing, motorsport, motorcycles, action sports, commercial productions and cinematic landscapes, utilising a combination of high-speed FPV drones as well as gimbal stabilised camera drones for steady, high-quality video footage.
FPV drones add the ability to stay close to fast subjects, reaching speeds up to 200km/h. Stabilised drones provide scale, stillness and precise cinematic motion. Knowing when to use each is a creative decision. Cinelifters provide the ability to carry heavier cinema cameras for high-end TV and Film production.

Professional aerial filming requires discipline, preparation and full regulatory compliance.
SkyVisuals operates in full compliance with European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) regulations, holding Open Category (A1, A2, A3) and Specific Category operational authorisations. We operate with full commercial third-party liability insurance across European airspace.
Before every flight: site surveys, risk assessments, airspace clearances and emergency procedures are established. We fly where others can’t—because we do it safely and legally.
